How does DermaSweep work?
“Less irritating and more effective than microdermabrasion, this treatment is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. Mild suction exfoliation stimulates collagen production and opens pores to drink in customized infusions that treat fine lines, hyperpigmentation, redness, and acne.” ~Splash
DermaSweep features a closed system with a variable level vacuum pump that gently lifts the skin surface as the device “sweeps away” the dead layer of skin in a precise and controlled manner. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow and cleans the pores. The increased blood flow encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis. Using the Epi-infusion option, skin specific solutions can be directly applied to the skin along with the exfoliation to treat skin specific conditions.
Before & After Photos
Is the treatment painful or come with side effects?
“DermaSweep uses breakthrough technology to renew, rejuvenate, and rehydrate by infusion skin-specific solutions such as Vitamin C and salicylic acid while exfoliating.” ~Scottsdale Magazine
The treatment is painless. The hazards associated with traditional microdermabrasion are eliminated. DermaSweep does not use aluminum oxide crystals that can remain embedded in the skin and cause irritation. The revolutionary bristle tip technology causes less irritation to the skin while at the same time allowing a more comfortable, aggressive and rejuvenating treatment. Your may feel mild tightening or tingling after exfoliation but the skin will be quite smooth. The moisture of a topical treatment will leave your skin with a cool, refreshed feeling. An antioxidant enriched sunscreen is essential to use afterwards since the exfoliated skin has temporarily lost some of its natural protection to the environment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure and tanning for a few days.

Will I miss work or need to stay indoors?
The DermaSweep treatment can be done during a normally scheduled office visit and in most cases you can return to your normal activities. However, it is advisable to avoid direct sun exposure for at least a few days after your treatment.
How long will the results last?
The results from your DermaSweep MD treatment are lasting, however, will vary depending on your diet, sleep and genetics.
Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 to 6 treatments spaced over 10 days to two weeks apart, supported by a daily post treatment routine.
If you combine Dermasweep MD treatments with laser skin rejuvenation (photorejuvenation or chemicals peels), then the results will last much longer.
